What is Community Navigator Dallas? Community Navigator Dallas is a targeted outreach initiative for small businesses in underrepresented communities. The DEC Network has partnered with six organizations including the Women’s Business Center. The program is a collaborative designed to connect small business owners to funding, programs, and resources that matter.
As a Community Navigator Dallas spoke, the WBC’s mission is to provide technical assistance, specifically, loan preparation and provide financial literacy tools and resources to bridge the gap between underrepresented entrepreneurs and access to capital.
The WBC presents the Entrepreneur’s Roadmap to Capital Series a virtual workshop series to provide financial education and training to small business owners that are thinking about funding for their business.

The WBC is offering a no cost credit consultation and advising on preparing for a loan from a Women’s Business Center advisor to increase the likelihood of an approval on a loan application. You’ll learn the 5c’s of credit, get help with your financial statements and a credit analysis to determine if you are ready for a loan.
